An Original wildlife watercolour of penguin chicks learning how to swim in the ice and snow.

Come in the waters lovely

Cautious chicks have made thier way across the ice for their first swim. The adult penguins are showing them how its done but they are still not sure.

Climate change is having a huge impact on many animals, its especially prominent where animals use ice as there nursery grounds. The melting ice means, less space more competition and sadly in the case of some seals even death. There are some amazing wildlife photographers that have highlighted this problem and are much more articulate then me in explaining it, so please take a look at their work.

I hope you like it any questions please ask, always happy to help.
